Struktur Komunitas Makrozoobentos Pada Zona Intertidal Desa Muara Air Haji Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan Provinsi Sumatera Barat

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted in the intertidal zone of Muara Air Haji Village. The method used in this study was a survey method, the purpose of this study was to determine the type, abundance, diversity and distribution pattern of macrozoobenthos in the intertidal zone. While sampling was carried out using three stations and each station consisted of 3 transects and three sub-zones consisting of upper middle and lower in the intertidal zone using a 1 m x 1 m quadrant map. The results of this study found 3 classes of macrozoobenthos with 5 species. The abundance value at each station was 0.89-4.56 ind/m2, while the abundance in the sub-zone intertidal ranged from 1.11-3.56 ind/m2. The diversity index (H') at the station I and III is 1.93 and 1.17 which means was categorized as moderate diversity, while the diversity index (H') at the station II is 0.84 which means was low diversity. The uniformity index value ranges from 0.65-0.99 which means was balanced uniformity. There is a dominance of macrozoobenthon at stastion II with an index value of 0.62, while at station I and III was no species that dominate whit index value of 0.30 and 0.45. And the distribution pattern (Id) of macrozoobenthos at this study locations was clustered with a value of 3.45-4.18.
