Pola Sebaran Total Padatan Tersuspensi (Tss) Di Muara Sungai Kampar Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau
Abstract
This research was conducted from July to November 2022 in Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of hydrodynamic patterns with suspended solids distribution patterns and to determine the concentration value of suspended solids distribution in the Kampar River estuary. This research method is survey and discussed descriptively with (MIKE 21 Software). The data used are primary data (tides, current speed, and TSS) and secondary data (bathymetry data, wind data, shoreline data, and tidal data). Then the data is processed into a model and analyzed to see the relationship between hydrodynamic patterns and TSS distribution patterns using linear regression and determine the value of TSS concentration. Current patterns affect the distribution of sediments in the Kampar River estuary. Where the TSS distribution pattern tends to follow the same direction as the movement of tidal currents where at high tide tends to lead to the southwest of the Kampar River estuary, while at low tide tends to lead to the northeast and northwest, this is because in the Kampar River estuary there are islands that make up the estuary. Kampar River is V-shaped. There is a low positive relationship between hydrodynamic patterns and TSS distribution patterns (r = 0.26), meaning that there is a significant influence between hydro patterns and TSS distribution patterns in the waters of the Kampar River estuary, between hydrodynamic patterns and TSS distribution patterns in the waters of the Kampar River estuary. The value of TSS concentration in the waters of the Kampar River Estuary at high tide to low tide is at station 7 with a range of 102 mg/l and the highest value is at stations 3, 4 and 9. At station 3 has a value of about 1756 mg/l, station 4 has a value of about 2823 mg/l, and at station 9 has a value of about 1269 mg/l. The high concentration of TSS resulted in low brightness in the study area. The average TSS content at high tide to low tide ranged from 848.4 mg/l.
