Kajian Teknis Dan Finansial Perikanan Hand Line Tuna Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Bungus Provinsi Sumatera Barat

Abstract
This research was conducted from January 15 to February 03, 2023 on the KM Purse Seine 02 hand line tuna fishing vessel based at Bungus Ocean Fishing Port (PPS), West Sumatra Province. The research aims to determine the technical and financial aspects of hand line tuna fisheries. The method used in this research is the survey method. Technical studies by examining the construction of the tuna hand line and following the operation process and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there were differences in the construction of the tuna hand line used compared to the general tuna handline construction, namely the addition of a fishing rod made of bamboo. The results of the financial study obtained a PP value of 3,2 years or 3 years 2 months 12 days, an NPV value of Rp. 2.985.770.051, an IRR value of 24% and a BCR value of 1,6. Based on the financial feasibility analysis assessment criteria, it can be concluded that the business is feasible to continue.
