ABSTRACT
Jalan Durian - Jalan Papaya intersection is a three-arm unsignalized intersection located in Pekanbaru City and often experiences congestion. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the performance of the Jalan Durian - Jalan Papaya unsignalized intersection. The method of calculating the performance of this unsignalized intersection is guided by MKJI 1997. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the peak flow is Thursday, May 11, 2023 with the results of Q = 2123 smp / hour, C = 3028 smp / hour, DS = 0.70, D = 10,96 sec /smp with level of service B. So that DS does not exceed the value filled in by the traffic signal. So that DS does not exceed the required value. So that DS does not exceed the value required by MKJI 1997 (DS ≤ 0.75) and the level of service has passed based on the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 96 of 2015.
