Strategi Daya Saing Pengumpul Buah Kelapa Sawit Dengan Pendekatan Metode Strength Weaknesses Opportunity Threats (Swot) Dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (Ahp)

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the right strategy for oil palm fruit collectors in increasing competitiveness using the Strength Weaknesses Opportunity Threats (SWOT) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. The method used in this study is observation with a qualitative descriptive approach. Qualitative descriptions were obtained through direct interviews with collectors using a pre-designed questionnaire using the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT) method to develop a palm oil competitiveness strategy and the AHP method (analytical hierarchy process) to find the best strategy for collectors in Central Kuantan district.The results of the study show that the processing using the SWOT method shows alternative strategies for developing the business of collectors, namely advising and helping farmers, entering into a written work contract with partners (farmers), providing loans to banks to optimize facilities and infrastructure for collectors and improving the administrative management system of collectors so that they can compete with other collectors. The results of processing using the AHP method show priority development strategies that can be implemented by collectors in developing their business, namely the partnership criteria with interest weights (0.594), including building trust with small oil palm farmers (0.339) and drafting written contracts with partners (0.201).
