Struktur Komunitas Makrozoobentos Pada Zona Intertidal Desa Teluk Lancar Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted in the intertidal zone of Teluk Lancar Village.
The method used in this study was a survey method. The aim of this study was to
determine the species, density, diversity and distribution pattern of
macrozoobenthos in the intertidal area. While the sampling was performed using
three stations and each station consisted of three transects and three subzones
consisting of the upper and lower middle intertidal zones using a 1 m × 1 m quadrant
map. The results of this study found 246 macrozoobenthos individuals consisting
of Class Bivalvia, Gastropods and Merostomata. The abundance value at each
station was 8.11-9.78 ind/m2, while the abundance in the sub-intertidal zone ranged
from 6.89-11.11 ind/m2. The species diversity index value (H') at each station is
2.42-2.89, which means it includes moderate diversity. The value of the type
uniformity index (E) of 0.80-0.84 includes high uniformity and in a balanced state.
The dominance index value (C) at each station was found not to be a dominant
species 0.19-0.26. The distribution pattern of macrozoobenthos is clustered with
morista index values ranging from 3.03 to 3.10.
