Identifikasi Tandan Buah Segar Kelapa Sawit Varietas Dura Dan Tenera Menggunakan Sensor Ultrasonik
ABSTRACT
Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) Oil Palm is a source of crude palm oil (CPO). The palm oil industry one of Indonesian commodities. The sustainability of this industry reguires technology development, especially in the automatic process of sorting and grading palm FFB for the quality of CPO. One of the sorting and grading parameters is to determine the percentage of Tenera's FFB compared to Dura for each one FFB Truck. 100 FFB is taken to represent grading based on variety. Tenera which is greater than 80 % indicates the highest grade. The Tenera variety has a thinner shell, thicker mesocarp so it has a higher oil content. The traditional way is destructive by injuring one part of the FFB with an axe and takes long time. In this research a Dura and Tenera variety identification system was created which consists of an ultrasonic sensor containing a wave transmitter and receiver/detector, arduino and a Python-based data acquisition and PCA analysis program. The results of this study showed that the stress value of the unripe dura variety was 15-17 mV and that of the ripe dura was 10-12 mV, while the voltage value of the unripe tenera variety was 34-36 mV and that of the ripe tenera was 30-32 mV. Two variables are used to analyze the voltage value, namely PC1 of 99.825% and PC2 of 0.175% with a cumulative percentage of 100%. The pattern formed on the scatter plot shows that there is a grouping of data for each type of sample according to its variety.
