ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to identify the supply chain and added value of each supply chain actor and to determine strategic priorities for the palm sugar supply chain in Torgamba District, South Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra. Data analysis was performed by adding value analysis, SWOT analysis, and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results showed that the supply chain of the palm sugar industry includes agro-industry, collectors, retailers and consumers. The added value obtained by palm sap farmers is IDR 3,450 with an added value ratio of 49.28% (included in the high added value category). added value to collectors of IDR 1,537 with an added value ratio of 9.7% (included in the low value added category). The total value of internal factors is 3.21 and the total value of external factors is 2.39. The priority strategy that can be implemented to improve the supply chain management of the palm sugar agro-industry is to improve the coordination and cooperation of all parties including the agro-industrial collectors, retailers and consumers with an interest weight of 0.384.
