ABSTRACT
A racing camshaft grinding machine is a machine for modifying a standard camshaft into a racing camshaft. This final project aims to make a racing camshaft grinding machine so that the work on making the camshaft becomes easier because the machine grinds the camshaft according to that desire. The method used is starting from field surveys, ideas, literature studies, manufacture, assembly, testing, if the results have not reached the target, repairs and modifications are made as well as reporting. Therefore, so that the designed tool can produce quality racing camshafts, this engine has dimensions of 340 mm in length, 240 mm in width. Engine performance testing is done by testing the camshaft directly. The results of the tests carried out to modify one camshaft are with a rotational speed of 2800 RPM according to the power of the driving motor.
