Studi Potensi Air Tanah Dengan Alat Magnetik & Elektroda (Aidu Golden Rod)
ABSTRACT Groundwater is water that is located below the surface of the soil which fills underground cavities and binds the elements contained in the soil. Groundwater depends on layers of rock that can contain groundwater called aquifers. An aquifer is a layer of groundwater-saturated rock that can store and transmit water in sufficient quantities. The use of water in the Bina Widya Campus area of the University of Riau still uses ground water. The construction of 10 ADB ACTION PIU Project buildings in the Bina Widya Campus area, of course there must be a solution to the water needs themselves which will meet the needs of the Bina Widya Campus community itself. In general, geoelectric research is used to determine groundwater potential, but there is a new technology or tool, namely the Aidu Golden Rod (AGR) tool which will be tested to determine groundwater potential at 3 locations in the Bina Widya Campus area, University of Riau. This study used magnetic & electrode methods at a depth of 100 m & 300 m with configurations 0, 1, and 2 so as to produce data in the form of images showing at what depth and the point of the drill where the groundwater potential exists.
