Pengaruh Pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Dan Hasil Belajar Pada Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Riau
The learning process is essentially a teaching communication process. At
the 2019 Academy of Public Economics and Creative Studies Faculty of
Education Department, the 2019 Academy of Economic Education received the
final score which can be categorized as relatively low. Factors influencing
learning achievement can be distinguished into two groups: internal and external
factors. Internal factors are factors that are present in the students' self consisting
of physical conditions, psychological conditions (wisdom, intelligence, interest,
talent, motivation). Although all types of learning media can be applied both to
theory and practice courses, few educators want to use different learning media in
their courses. This is because of the many obstacles facing lecturers and students
in using appropriate learning media in the delivery of their materials, both
internal and external obstacles.
This study aims to analyze the Influence of Learning Media Utilization on
Learning Motivation and Learning Results on Students of Economic Education
Study Program of Faculty of Vocational and Educational Sciences of Riau
University. This study is a descriptive study aimed at explaining the observational
results. Researchers use a quantitative approach that emphasizes the acquisition
of original data. The population of the study was 231 students and the sample was
taken using Simple Random Sampling, of which 70 were sampled. The data
collection technique in this study was by the researcher or the queryer directly
distributed to the respondents in question via the Google form and data links to
find out the use of learning media and learning motivation. Meanwhile, learning
results are obtained from student final scores in Creative Economy courses.
Research results show: 1) Learning media utilization has a significant
influence on learning motivation, meaning that the better learning media
utilization will increase, 2) Learning motivation has a significant influence on
student learning outcomes, It means that the higher the student's learning
motivation, the better the learning outcomes can be achieved, 3) The use of
learning media has a significant influence on student learning outcomes in the
presence of a learning motivation mediator. In this study, learning motivation
variables played a role as a link between the indirect influence of learning media
on learning outcomes. With motivational variables, the effect of learning media
utilization on learning outcomes is higher.
