Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Kahoot Terhadap Motivasi Dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Kelas XI SMAS Cendana Mandau
This research was conducted to determine the effect of using Kahoot learning media
on motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of class XI SMAS Cendana Mandau
students. Quantitative research with the Quasi Experiment type experimental
method using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The
population in this study were all students of class XI SMAS Cendana Mandau.
Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique and the samples
used were students of class XI MIPA 2 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 3 as
the control class. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis, inferential
statistical analysis, and the N-Gain test. The research instrument used was 25
questions on the motivational questionnaire sheet, 8 questions on the observation
sheet, and 25 multiple choice test questions. The results showed that data on student
learning motivation obtained based on the results of statistical analysis showed an
increase in the experimental class of 8.24 and was supported by the final results of
the experimental class observation which was in the very high category with a score
of 82.12 compared to the control class which was in the high category with a value
of 74 .97 and the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test showed a significance
value of 0.001
