Keanekaragaman Plankton Pada Perairan Danau Kembar Indragiri Hulu Sebagai Rancangan Leaflet Pembelajaran Biologi SMA
This study aims to determine the composition and diversity of plankton species in the waters of the Indragiri Hulu Kembar Lakes. The research location is in Kembar Lakes, Kelesa Village, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency and at the PMIPA Laboratory, Department of Biology Education, Teaching and Education Faculty, Riau University in October 2022. The method used is a survey by taking four station points determined by a purposive sampling technique. taking into account the conditions of the aquatic environment and ecological characteristics. Parameters measured in this study included biological parameters (composition and diversity) and physico-chemical parameters (temperature, current, brightness, light intensity, pH and dissolved oxygen). The data analysis technique in this study was descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the composition and diversity of plankton in Kembar Lakes found 5 classes, 16 species and 268 individuals. Bacillariophyceae with a proportion of 46.64%, Chlorophyceae with a proportion of 25.75%, Chyanophyceae with a proportion of 14.18%, Euglenophyceae with a proportion of 7.84% and Dinophyceae with a proportion of 5.60%. The phytoplankton diversity index ranged from 2.33-2.68. Based on this level, the diversity index of phytoplankton is classified as moderate species diversity, indicating that Kembar Lakes has a good ecological balance. This is caused by the large number of species found in the Indragiri Hulu Kembar Lakes and the environmental zone which is still good and the physico-chemical factors of the waters that support the growth of phytoplankton.
