Pengaruh Kepemilikan Keluarga Dan Kepemilikan Institusional Terhadap Biaya Keagenan Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia
This study aims to determine the effect of family ownership and institutional ownership on agency costs in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research was conducted on food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2022 which have complete data (family ownership, institutional ownership and SGA) there are 9 companies with 45 years. This study used descriptive and quantitative approaches as well as parametric statistical tests with multiple linear regression. Data processing using SPSS software version 16.0. The results showed that family ownership and institutional ownership were influential but not significant to agency costs. Family Ownership has a very weak influence on agency fees. Institutional ownership has a very weak influence on agency fees. By referring to the results of this study, companies need to increase institutional investor activities in conducting supervision in taking collective actions so that agency costs can be reduced because low agency costs are very important for companies to attract investors and are considered to provide satisfactory feedback for investors.
