Analisis Prevalensi Virus Imnv (Infectious Myonecrosis Virus) Pada Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus Vannamei) Di Kabupaten Bengkalis
ABSTRACT
This reserch was conducted in February-April 2023. Vaname shrimp samples were taken from three sub-districts Bantan Regency, Bengkalis Regency and Bukit Batu District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. Vaname shrimp are known to have several advantages such as being resistant to disease, having better growth and being more adaptable. The success of shrimp aquaculture production is largely determined by environmental factors, the host and the distribution of pathogens. IMNV is a type of double-stranded RNA virus that causes disease in penaeid shrimp. The existence of IMNV in vannamei shrimp will have a big impact on the production of shrimp farming in ponds. Therefore, a study was conducted on the IMNV virus around Bengkalis Regency. The method used in this research is a survey method. The results of the morphological examination did not show any clinical symptoms in vannamei shrimp. The results of IMNV detection using PCR with specific primers had no DNA band fluorescence at 139 bp in the three study locations. The prevalence of vaname shrimp IMNV disease obtained was 0%.
