Prospek Budidaya Kerang Darah (Anadara Granosa) Di Pantai Gambus Laut, Kabupaten Batu Bara
Abstract
Blood clam (Anadara granosa) is a type of shellfish that has great potential and
economic value and can be developed as a source of protein and minerals to meet
the food needs of the Indonesian population. This research was conducted from
February 2023 to March 2023 at Gambus Laut Beach, Lima Puluh Pesisir District,
Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra. This study aims to analyze land suitability and
marketing aspects in blood clam cultivation in Gambus Laut Beach. The method
used is the survey method consisting of 3 stations, storet method, one-way ANOVA
test, and business feasibility analysis using the formula Revenue Cost of Ratio. The
results showed that there was no difference in the abundance of blood clams
between stations with a significant value of 0.105 where p > 0.05. Assessment of
the suitability of cultivated land obtained a feasibility status that corresponded to a
score of 0 for the three stations. In terms of the marketing aspect, namely from the
results of the feasibility analysis of blood clam farming in Gambus Laut Beach, the
R/C value was obtained ratio equal to 2.18 where RCR> 1, then the business is
feasible to run.
