Indentifikasi Morfologi Dasar Perairan Di Selat Rupat Kabupaten Bengkalis Riau
ABSTRACT
Based on the results of the analysis and discussion in this study, the following conclusions can be drawn, on indirect tidal data for 29 days in the waters of Rupat Strait processed using the Admiralty method, the value of the chart datum model is MSL 0.076m, HHWL 163.411m and LLWL -163.259m. The relationship between the chart datum obtained with bathymetry data, that the Z0 and MSL values are used as tidal corrections to the depth data to show the depth model. The results of the data analysis in the form of contour maps and 3-dimensional models known bathymetric conditions at the research location based on bathymetry maps show the existence of tight contour lines and closed curves. The tight contour means there is a difference in depth that is in a close position, while the closed curve means there is a basin. The depth of a body of water is very influential on transportation routes and shipping lanes and determines the feasibility of building a port.
