Penetapan Mesjid Raudhatul Jannah Sebagai Cagar Budaya Di Koto Sentajo Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
Raudhatul Jannah Mosque is one of the cultural heritage buildings in Koto Sentajo which has an impact on the social life of the surrounding community. The purpose of this study was to determine the designation of the Raudhatul Jannah Mosque as a cultural heritage, to find out the development of the Raudhatul Jannah Mosque building and to find out what cultural elements are present in the Raudhatul Jannah Mosque in Koto Sentajo, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research is historical research that is historical in nature. The results showed that the designation of the Raudhatul Jannah Mosque as a Cultural Heritage was in accordance with the inventory number 08/BCB-TB/B/11/2007. The development of the Raudhatul Jannah Mosque is divided into three periods, namely 2008 - 2013, 2013 - 2018 and 2018 - 2022. In the first period, repairs were made to the roof partly due to damage, repairs to the floor and additional parking space. In the second period, repairs were made to the roof, floor, warehouse, ablution area and traditional hall. Furthermore, in the last period, arrangements were made on the mihrab, pulpit, mosque foyer, adding fences and painting the exterior and interior of the mosque. The mosque was built using 17 wooden pillars as a whisper. The cultural element in the Raudhatul Jannah mosque is that there are elements of Dutch colonial culture with several forms of architecture such as arches on windows and doors, as well as a combination of traditional ancient building types that are in accordance with Pijper's theory of ancient mosque buildings. Meanwhile, the philosophical elements in the building of the Raudhatul Jannaah Mosque can be seen from the number of wooden performances featuring 16 hulubalangs and 1 head as symbols of the ancient of Koto Sentajo.
