Pengaruh Konsep Diri Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru SMP Negeri Kecamatan Bangkinang Kota Kabupaten Kampar
This study aims to find and analyze the influence of self concept and work motivation on the performance of Junior High School teachers In Bangkinang Subdistrict Kampar Regency. The background of the problem in this study is that the Junior High School teachers in Bangkinang Subdistrict Kampar Regency do not yet have high performance as seen from some teachers do not prepare learning program plans such as RPP, syllabus and teaching aids or learning media, furthermore there are still teachers whose class management is not optimal so students become noisy, there are still teachers who use old learning evaluation instruments without any updates, and there are some teachers who have poor interpersonal relationships with students as seen from teachers who do not respond to students who want to ask questions or express opinions. This study uses the ex-post facto research method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used was questionnaire Kampar Regency, who were randomly selected as a sample using the Taro Yamane formula. The data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis.
Based on the data analysis, it was found that the positive and significant influence of self concept on the teachers performance in Junior High School Bangkinang Subdistrict Kampar Regency was 31,5%, while the remaining 68,5% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study. Thus it can be concluded that the influence of the self concept variables on teachers performance has a low interpretation or influence. Furthermore, the positive and significant influence of work motivation on the teachers performance in Junior High School Bangkinang Subdistrict Kampar Regency was 19,7%, while the remaining 80,3% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study. Thus it can be concluded that the influence of work motivation variables on teachers performance has an interpretation or influence in the very low category. And obtained a positive and significant influence of self concept and work motivation together on the teachers performance in Junior High School Bangkinang Subdistrict Kampar Regency was 41,5%, while the remaining 58,5% was determined by other factors that are not part of this study. Thus it can be concluded that the influence of self concept and work motivation variables together on teacher performance has an interpretation or influence in the medium category.
