Struktur Komunitas Gastropoda Di Ekosistem Mangrove Kecamatan Bantan Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
This study was conducted in March-April 2023 at the Mangrove Ecosystem, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study is to determine the structure of gastropod communities which include types, abundances, relative abundance, diversity, uniformity, dominance and distribution patterns of gastropods at the study site. This study was conducted using survey method and sampling was carried out using Purpossive Sampling method at 3 stations. Result that gastropods found at the study site were 6 families, 9 genera and 10 species. The most common gastropod species found from the study site was Telescopium telescopium of the Potamidae family. The abundance of gastropods between stations in the mangrove ecosystem of Bantan District ranges from 7300-12100 ind/ha and the highest relative abundance was from Telescopium telescopium with a percentage of 89.43%. The diversity index (H') of gastropods ranges from 1.55-2.67, the uniformity index (E) ranges from 0.55-0.85, the dominance index is 0.19-0.29, the distribution pattern ranges from 1.84-9 which means that the distribution pattern was clustered.
