Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Lada Hitam Dengan Dosis Berbeda Melalui Perendaman Terhadap Maskulinisasi Ikan Guppy (Poecilia Reticulata )
Abstract
Guppy fish (Poecilia reticulata) is a popular ornamental fish in both local and foreign markets. Male guppies have a thinner body form and more colorful body color and fins than female guppies, leading in a stronger demand for male guppy goods. To accommodate the huge demand, black pepper extract is being used to masculinize guppy fish. This study used an experimental procedure with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) that included 5 treatments and 4 replications. The doses used in the treatments were 0 mg/L, 4 mg/L, 5 mg/L, 6 mg/L, and 7 mg/L.
