Pengaruh Jenis Media Terhadap Pertumbuhan Mikroalga Nannochloropsis Sp. Skala Laboratorium
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted from November to December 2022 at the Marine Microbiology Laboratory, Department of Marine Science, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different types of media on the growth of Nannochloropsis sp. microalgae cells. laboratory scale and to see the best medium for the growth of microalgae Nannochloropsis sp. The method used is the experimental method using RAL (Completely Randomized Design) 1 factor consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely Control, A (Walne), B (Guillard), C (Urea) each 3 repetitions to obtain 12 experimental units . The highest density peak occurred in treatment A on day 10 with a total population density of 22647 x 104 cells/ml and the lowest density peak occurred in the Control on day 7 with a total population density of 5970 x 104 cells/ml. The highest to the lowest population density is treatment A, B, C, and control. Absolute growth from the highest to the lowest in a row, namely treatment A with a total of 21594 x 104 cells/ml, treatment B with a total of 16920 x 104 cells/ml , treatment C with a total of 7094 x 104 cells/ml, and Control with a total of 4917 x 104 cells/ml.
