Pemeliharaan Ikan Patin (Pangasianodon Hypophthalmus) Yang Di Beri Pakan Diperkaya Daun Kelor (Moringa Oleifera) Dengan Manipulasi Fotoperiod Pada Sistem Aquaponik
Abstract
Striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) is a consumption fish that has high economic value and is popular with the public. This study aims to obtain the right dosage of Moringa leaves in feed on the growth and survival of striped catfish reared in the dark for 24 hours using an aquaponic recirculation system. This research was conducted from March to May 2023 for 60 days. This research was conducted using an experimental method with a completely randomized design, which consisted of 4 treatments with 3 replications. The treatment was without the addition of moringa leaf flour, doses of 5 g/kg, doses of 10 g/kg, and 15 g/kg. In this study, 400 catfish seeds were used measuring 4-6 cm in length. The results showed that Moringa leaves were able to influence the growth and survival of those reared with the photoperiod media of the aquaponic system. The best dose in this study was 10 g/kg which resulted in an absolute weight of 31.93 g, an absolute length of 7.62 cm, SGR 3.29%/day, and a survival rate of 98.89%. This study concluded that the addition of moringa leaf powder was able to have a significant effect on the growth and survival of striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus). The best moringa leaf powder dosage was obtained at a dose of 10 g/kg. The optimum dosage of moringa leaf extract was achieved at 4 mg/L.
