Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Purwoceng (Pimpinella Alpina) Dengan Metode Perendaman Terhadap Maskulinisasi Ikan Guppy (Poecilia Reticulata)

ABSTRACT
Guppy fish (Poecilia reticulata) is one of the ornamental fish
commodities that has quite good economic value in its class. Guppy fish are in
great demand, especially male guppies because they have a slimmer body shape
with more attractive body and fin color patterns than female guppies. One effort to
get a higher percentage of male guppies is by administering purwoceng extract to
the masculinization of guppies. This research was carried out in March - May
2023 at the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and
Maritime Affairs, University of Riau. The method used was a one-factor
Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The
purwoceng extract levels used were P0 (dose 0 mg/L), P1 (dose 4 mg/L), P2 (dose
5 mg/L), P3 (dose 6 mg/L), and P4 (dose 7 mg/L). L) with a long immersion of 24
