Pemanfaatan Pupuk Organik Cair (Poc) Limbah Ikan Patin (Pangasianodon Hypophthalmus) Terhadap Biomassa Azolla Microphylla Pada Media Pemeliharaan Ikan Nila
ABSTRACT
Liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from catfish waste contains NPK which is needed for the growth of Azolla microphylla. A. microphylla plants can be used as additional feed available for tilapia and can help improve water quality, because it functions as a phytoremediation. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the LOF waste of catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) on A. microphylla biomass in tilapia rearing media. The research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) 1 factor with 4 treatment levels and 3 replications. The treatment in this study was the administration of different LOF from catfish waste, P0 (Without addition LOF), P1 (0.875 ml/L), P2 (2.625 ml/L) and P3 (5.25 ml/L). The results showed that giving POC from catfish waste 2.625 ml/L was the best treatment for the absolute weight growth of A. microphylla with an average of 60 g and a relative growth rate of 1.72 g/day and was able to support the life and growth of tilapia for 30 days of rearing with the contribution of A. microphylla of 96% and producing an average absolute weight of tilapia 1.88 g/tail and a relative growth rate of 0.77 g/day. Water quality in the rearing medium, namely, temperature (28-30oC), pH (6.3-8.3), dissolved oxygen (5.4-8.1 mg/L), nitrate (0.43-16 .8 mg/L) and phosphate (0.64-3.52 mg/L).
