Pola Pertumbuhan Ikan Gadih (Tor Tambroides) Di Sungai Kampar Kanan Hulu Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu Provinsi Riau
ABSTRAK
Tor tambroides (Cyprinidae) or gadih fish was an endemic fish that inhabit the upstream of the Kampar Kanan River. To understand the length-weight relationship and growth pattern of the fish, a study was conducted in August 2022 - January 2023. The fish were sampled from the river parts that cross the Bandur Picak, Sibiruang, and Tanjung Villages. The fish were collected from fishermen captured during the study period. The sampled fishes were then measured for TL using a measuring board and weighed using a digital scale. Results showed that there were 51 fishes captured (28 males and 23 females), 194-505 mm TL and 77-1521 gram BW. The growth of the female was negative allometric with b3 (3.16). There were different characteristics between males and females. In males and females at the same total length, males tend to be heavier with longer tails. These characteristics become apparent in the size of 300 mm TL, indicating that the fish may achieve the size of maturity.
