Struktur Komunitas Gastropoda Di Hutan Mangrove Perairan Pantai Ketapang, Kecamatan Rupat
ABSTRACT
Gastropod community structure is a concept or study that studies structure or the
composition of species in an ecosystem. The structure of the gastropod community is influenced
by change environmental factors such as temperature, salinity, substrate type and organic matter
content. Rupat District Geographically, it is located in a group of islands that directly borders the
Malacca Strait greatly influenced by coastal environmental conditions. Rupat District has one of
three ecosystems tropical seas namely mangroves. This research aims to determine the structure
of the gastropod community located in the mangrove forest of Ketapang Beach, Rupat District.
This research was conducted on the moon April 2023 using a random sampling technique with a
total of three stations. There are 8 (eight) species
gastropods were found with the dominant species Cerithidea obtusa found. Abundance gastropods
130,000 ind/ha. The diversity index (H') value is 1.24, the uniformity index (E) value is 0.33, and
Dominance index value (C) 0.40, distribution pattern (Id) is clustered. Similarity index (Ss)
Gastropods between each station on Ketapang Beach are almost the same type and have
similarities which belongs to the high category. Oneway anova test results < 0.05 LSD (Least
Significance) further test Difference) states that the abundance between stations I and III is
significant (significantly different), the same thing with station II and station III which are
significantly different. For abundance between station I and station II, no real different.
