ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of workload and work stress on employee organizational commitment through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Kantor Pusat. The population in this study are all employees of PT. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Kantor Pusat as many as 375 people. By using the slovin formula, the number of samples used in this study was 195 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire distribution method. Data analysis used in this research is path analysis. The results of this study indicate that workload has a negative and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Kantor Pusat. Job stress has a negative and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Kantor Pusat. Workload has a negative and significant effect on employee organizational commitment at PT. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Kantor Pusat. Work stress has a negative and significant effect on employee organizational commitment at PT. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Kantor Pusat. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee organizational commitment at PT. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Kantor Pusat. Workload has a negative and significant effect on organizational commitment through employee job satisfaction at PT. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Kantor Pusat.
