Analisis Kelimpahan Sampah Padat Domestik Ekosistem Mangrove Di Bandar Bakau Kota Dumai
ABSTRACT
Marine debris is one of the complex problems faced by an area close to the beach or coast, one of which is the ecosystem area in Bandar Bakau, Dumai City which is one of the mangrove tourism areas in Riau Province. Marine debris is a direct threat to marine biota, marine habitats, and human health resulting in serious socioeconomic losses. This research was conducted in September 2022-October 2022 in Bandar Bakau, Dumai City, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to analyze the types of solid domestic waste found in the Bandar Bakau ecosystem area of Dumai City and analyze the abundance of solid domestic waste in the Bandar Bakau ecosystem area of Dumai City. The research method used is the survey method, where the data collected is primary data obtained directly in the field through observation and sampling. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the types of marine debris found at both stations were 7 types of marine debris. The most common type of waste found was plastic waste. The total weight of the collected garbage was 67.3 kg, the overall type of garbage found had a total number of 353 units from the accumulation of two stations during weekend and weekday, the abundance of marine debris during weekend at station I was 1.11 units/m2, at station II was 1.19 units/m2, the abundance of marine debris during weekday at station I was 0.59 units/m2, at station II was 0.64 units/m2.
