Identifikasi Jamur Pada Air Dan Sedimen Tambak Udang Vannamei (Litopenaeus Vannamei) Sistem Intensif Dan Tradisional Di Desa Teluk Pambang, Kabupaten Bengkalis
Abstract
Teluk Pambang Village is one of the villages on Bengkalis Island in Riau Province. This area is known for having the largest shrimp farms on Bengkalis Island, specifically along the banks of the Kembung River. Various diseases have been found in vannamei shrimp in Bengkalis Regency, such as bacteria and parasites. However, no research has been conducted on fungal contamination in this area, making it necessary to conduct this study. Fungi play an important role in the ecological process as decomposers, but they can also be harmful. Fungi are ubiquitous organisms with a rapid rate of infection. This research aimed to identify the types of fungi present in the water and sediment of intensive and traditional vannamei shrimp farms. Sampling of sediment and water was carried out in three intensive shrimp farm areas and three traditional shrimp farm areas. Subsequently, these samples will be analyzed at the Fungus Laboratory of the Fisheries Quality and Safety Quarantine Station (SKIPM) in Pekanbaru. The results of the study showed the presence of two types of fungi, namely Botrytis sp. and Penicillium sp. Fungi were only found in shrimp farms with intensive cultivation systems, specifically Penicillium sp. in the shrimp pond water.
