Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Dengan Kepuasan Kerja Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pegawai Dinas Perumahan Rakyat Dan Kawasan Permukiman Kota Pekanbaru
This research is motivated by creating disciplined work rules in a
government agency. Discipline is very important for employees and
organizations, because discipline will affect work and organizational goals.
Several things that trigger work discipline problems at the Pekanbaru City
Perkim Service indicate that there are still discrepancies resulting from
unsatisfactory results in the use of human resources.
The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of work
motivation on work discipline with job satisfaction as an intervening variable for
employees of the Pekanbaru City Public Housing and Settlement Area Service.
This research uses a quantitative descriptive method approach. Primary data was
obtained directly through a questionnaire filled out by 45 Perkim Service
employees. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and
inferential statistics (measurement model and model structure).
The results of the research show that work motivation has a significant
positive effect on work discipline, work motivation has a significant positive effect
on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has no effect on work discipline and work
motivation has no effect on work discipline with job satisfaction as an intervening
variable for Public Housing and Regional Office employees Pekanbaru City
Settlements.
