Pengaruh Penambahan Daun Kelor (Moringa Oleifera) Dalam Pakan Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kesehatan Ikan Patin (Pangasianodon Hypophthalmus) Dengan Manipulasi Fotoperiod Pada Sistem Resirkulasi
Abstract
Striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) is an economical fish because people's interest in catfish is high. This research aims to determine the effect of adding Moringa leaf (Moringa oleifera) flour to feed and the best dosage on the growth and health of catfish that are reared using photoperiod manipulation in a recirculating aquaponics system. This research was carried out for 70 days in February – April 2023 at the Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Riau University and observations of fish hematology were carried out at the Aquatic Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Riau University. This research method is a direct experiment with a completely randomized design with 1 factor using 4 treatments with 3 repetitions, namely P0: no addition of Moringa leaves, P1: dose of 10 g/kg feed, P2: dose of 15 g/kg feed, and P3: dose of 10 g/kg feed, and P3: dose 20 g/kg feed. This research used catfish seeds measuring 4-6 cm with a stocking density of 30 fish/container containing 100 L of water. The results showed that the addition of Moringa leaves at a dose of 10 g/kg feed was the best treatment, which gave an average absolute weight of 37.10 grams, a specific growth rate of 2.8%, a feed efficiency value of 93.51%, a feed conversion of 1 .06, total erythrocytes 2.13 x 106 cells/mm3, hemoglobin level 8.13 g/dL, hematocrit level 31.33%, and survival value 96.66%. The conclusion of the research is that adding Moringa leaf flour to feed can improve the growth and health condition of catfish.
