Strategi Pengembangan Desa Wisata Berbasis Edukasi Di Kecamatan Dayun Kabupaten Siak
Dayun tourist village is a tourist attraction that is quite popular among the people of Siak Regency, even outside the Siak Regency area. The Dayun tourist village won the Best Tourism Village I in the Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) which was directly supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Starting from a reservoir used for forest and land fires, it was revitalized again so that an education-based tourist village was formed.
This study aims to analyze the strategy for developing an education-based tourism village in Dayun District using the SWOT analysis method with a quantitative approach. To obtain the necessary data, this study uses primary data and secondary data. Based on the SWOT analysis, the results show that the Dayun tourism village is in Quadrant I, namely Aggressive Strategy, which is a very profitable situation where the tourism village has opportunities and strengths so that it can take advantage of existing opportunities.
