Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dan Budaya Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru SDN Kecamatan Lima Puluh Pekanbaru
SUMMARY
Teacher performance is something that needs and deserves to be examined in depth. Many factors cause the emergence of problems related to the teacher's performance. The principal's leadership factor is the component with the most dominant input in influencing teacher performance. The positive behavior of the principal can encourage, direct, and motivate all school members to work together to realize the school's vision, mission, and goals. In addition to the leadership of the school principal, things that greatly support teacher performance require a conducive work culture and good relations between elements in the school. Therefore, this study aims to examine more about the influence of the principal's leadership and work culture on the performance of SDN Kecamatan Lima Puluh Pekanbaru.
This research uses a quantitative, descriptive approach. This quantitative descriptive research describes systematically, actually, and accurately certain social phenomena with the intention of describing in detail the existing facts and data. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and questionnaires The subjects in the study were 142 teachers at SDN Lima Puluh District. The determination of the sample in this study was carried out using proportional random sampling, namely the method of taking samples from members of the population using a random method without regard to strata in the population.
The results showed that 1) principal leadership had a significant positive influence on teacher performance with a significance value of 0.000 or less than an alpha value of 0.05. 2) Work culture has a significant positive effect on teacher performance, with a significance value of 0.000. 3) Principal leadership and work culture have a joint effect on teacher performance, with a significance value of 0.000 and an R-Square value of 0.758 indicating that the proportion of the influence of school principal leadership and work culture variables on teacher performance variables is 75.8%.
