Pengembangan Media Prize Reading Alarm Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Baca Anak Usia 5-6tahun Di TK Negeripembina 3 Pekanbaru
Abstract
This research was motivated by the problems found by researchers, namely children still do not seem happy to read, children are still not aware and understand the benefits of reading, children's reading time is still not regular, the quantity of reading sources for reading is still lacking. This research aims to develop innovative media, namely prize reading alarm media to increase children's interest in reading. This research is a research & development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. This development research involves material experts, media experts, and educator experts as validators. The limited trial was conducted at Pembina State Kindergarten 3 Pekanbaru City. The feasibility of the media after being validated by the validators of three expert teams, namely material experts by 82%, media experts by 79.69%, and educators by 83.45%, this shows that the media prize reading alarm is categorized as very feasible. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the media prize reading alarm can increase early childhood reading interest, especially at the age of 5-6 years.
