Pengaruh Game Matching Geo Terhadap Kemampuan Mengenal Bentuk Geometri Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di TK Tri Insani Permata Kota Pekanbaru
Abstract
Based on the results of observations at the Tri Insani Permata Kindergarten, Pekanbaru City, it appears that the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years is still relatively low, so interactive media called the geo matching game is needed. This research aims to determine the influence of the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years before and after being given treatment in the form of interactive geo matching game media at Tri Insani Kindergarten Permata Pekanbaru. This type of research is a quantitative experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was Tri Insani Permata Pekanbaru Kindergarten children aged 5-6 years, namely 36 children. The sample in this study was Tri Insani Permata Pekanbaru Kindergarten children aged 5-6 years, namely 24 children consisting of two classes, where each class consisted of 12 children. The sampling technique used in this research is random sampling. The data collection technique used by researchers is primary data through observation, data analysis using the t-test using SPSS Windows V.20.0. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in the ability to recognize geometric shapes seen from the average score obtained before treatment and after treatment, the results of data analysis were tcount 15.686, greater than ttable 1.795. From this research, it can be concluded that the interactive geo matching game media influences the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years at Tri Insani Permata Pekanbaru Kindergarten.
