Indonesia is a developing country that is actively implementing development in various fields to improve the standard of living and welfare of the community. With the increasingly rapid development of the economy, technological advances, increased knowledge, organizational improvements and progress, more and more companies are competing to carry out their business activities as well as possible. The problem in this research is how to implement a photocopy machine rental agreement between the Abadi Success Shop and consumers and how to dispute resolution of the photocopy machine rental agreement at Toko Sukes Abadi with consumers.
The writing method in this research is the type of research used is sociological research, that is, research carried out by identifying the law and how effective this law is in force in society. Prior to the agreement, the renter must fulfill the requirements determined by Toko Sukses Abadi. After agreeing on the contents of the rental agreement, the parties can sign the agreement. The contents of the rental agreement at Toko Sukses Abadi contain the rights and obligations of each party. However, there are still tenants who are negligent in carrying out their obligations. Namely excessive use of paper and late payment of the photocopy machine rental fee.
Completion of acts of default by the lessee in implementing the photocopy machine rental agreement is subject to a predetermined fine for each day of late return. The renter gives a warning or warning 3 times, if the renter is still absent and does not fulfill his obligations, the lessor will withdraw the photocopy machine that is on the renter's side and the lease will continue until the renter fulfills his obligations. And usually if a dispute occurs between each party, it is carried out through deliberation or peaceful means.
