The development of digital culture today greatly impacts aspects of people's lives which results in most humans depending on technology and the internet. This development makes the digital creative industry a new opportunity in the business world that is superior to other creative industries because of the growing number of users. Despite having high opportunities, the means of developing the digital industry in Pekanbaru are still considered inadequate and become an obstacle for digital creative industry workers. The Digital Creative Industry Center in Pekanbaru is present as a space that can function as an area of interaction and collaboration as well as a liaison between sectors and components involved in digital creative industry activities. Not only that, this space can also be used as a means of education, promotion, production, experimentation, and exhibition. The availability of space that can create a creative environment and optimize activities related to the digital creative industry can help digital creative industry workers to develop more. The principle of expressionist architecture is used as a design method where it can be a channel of emotions and express feelings so as to create a creative environment, have a building expression that attracts potential users and the public. The application of expressionist architectural principles is realized in the processing of sites both in form and appearance, building construction systems and processing space quality.
