The development of the creative industry in the modern era allows everyone to express themselves in various ways, one of which is through art. The produced artworks encompass various types such as paintings, sculptures, photography, filmmaking, architecture, and more. These artworks are typically showcased through electronic media or exhibitions organized by the artistic community itself, indicating that the produced art often lacks attention from the public. In Pekanbaru, there are several museums and cultural centers preserving cultural heritage and history in the Riau Province, but there is no dedicated space to store or exhibit the works of young artists with a more modern touch. Therefore, the design of a Visual Art Center is needed to house the works of these artists, allowing them to be appreciated and enjoyed by art enthusiasts. The design of this Visual Art Center will adopt a Futuristic Architecture style. The selection of this style is due to its distinctive design characteristics that capture attention, much like a work of art. By leveraging the latest building technologies and materials such as steel, glass, and others, a modern impression can be achieved.
