Bimbingan Kelompok Dengan Menggunakan Teknik Permainan Tongkat Untuk Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Diri Siswa Di SMPN 5 Dayun
Self-confidence is an individual's attitude in convincing themselves of their abilities. This positive attitude can enable individuals to develop positive values both for themselves and the surrounding environment. There are those who have difficulty being confident and there are those who are able to believe in themselves.
The research, entitled Group Guidance Using Stick Game Techniques to Increase Students' Self-Confidence at SMPN 5 Dayun, aims to find out whether group guidance services using stick game techniques have an effect on students' self-confidence.
This research is quantitative with an experimental type of research, the research subjects were taken using purposive sampling, where there were 5 class VIII students at SMPN 5 Dayun who had low self-confidence. The data collection tool was carried out by distributing a self-confidence scale questionnaire which was then analyzed pretest and posttest using the Wilcoxon test and Spearman rank test with the help of SPSS 25 for Windows.
The hypothesis results prove that there is a significant difference in the level of student self-confidence before and after being given group guidance services using the stick game technique with the Wilcoxon test value showing Asymp Sig (2-tailed) of (0.042) < α (0.05) which means Ha accepted. Furthermore, the Spearman rank test results show that the Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.047 (0.047 < 0.05). So, the implementation of group guidance services using stick playing techniques significantly influenced students' self-confidence by 78%.
