Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Tomat (Lycopersicum Esculentum Mill) Dengan Pemberian Gibberellin Dan Pupuk Daun

Tomato is horticulture comodity that has potential marketing. The
increasing of citizen and the awareness of citizen in nutrition cause tomato needs
unsufficient especrally in Riau. In 2003 tomato production is only 1,00 ton/Ha
(Directoral Jenderal Bina Produksi Hortikultura, 2004) whereas tomato production
can reach 40 ton/Ha.
This reseach conducted to know the interaction giving gibberellin and
gandasil D. Toward the growth and tomato production. This research had been
conducted in Kelurahan Simpang Baru Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru for 4
month during October 2007 till January 2008. This research conducted by using
complete random method (RAL) by factorial where the first fakctor consist of 4
using gibberellin there are without giving gibberellin. Gibberellin concentration
20 mg/1 water, 40 mg/1 water and 60 mg/1 water. The second factor consist of 4
gandasil D without giving gandasil D, gandasil D concentration 1 g/1 water, 2 g/1
water and 3 g/1 water each unit done 4 times.
The result of the research showed that the combination gibberellin and
gandasil D seemincrease the growth and production of tomato that is by
concentration 2 g/1 gandasil D with 40 mg/1 gibberellin, eventhough giving
concentration gibberellin 20 mg/1 with gandasil D 2 g/1 water seem increase
tomato production.
