Pengaruh Pembinaan Keagamaan dan Dukungan Sosial Keluarga Terhadap Perilaku Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (Studi pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Pekanbaru)
Correctional Institutions are the main movers in implementing the principles of protection, achieving goals through education, rehabilitation and reintegration. The development program implemented in prisons covers the areas of independence and personality. The personality program is guidance in worshiping according to the religion and beliefs held by the prisoner. Guidance at the Pekanbaru Class IIA Penitentiary based on researchers' observations is seen from the religious program and the provision of religious formation facilities which are deemed to be adequate. The facilities available include halls, places of worship such as mosque, church. However, religious formation is also due to the lack of participating prison inmates, only a few percent of the total Pekanbaru Class II A prison inmates are willing to be involved in religious activities on a regular basis.
This religious activity is mandatory, but prisoners still ignore the coaching process because of internal factors such as laziness and external factors such as less strict sanctions and less than optimal family social support. Social support, especially from loved ones, will help overcome psychological problems that often arise in inmates. Family social support is an environmental factor that has a positive relationship with the way inmates view themselves.
The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of religious guidance and family social support partially and simultaneously on the behavior of inmates and to determine and analyze the magnitude of the influence of religious guidance and family social support on the behavior of inmates at the Class II A Penitentiary in Pekanbaru.
