Analisis Keberlanjutan Pengobatan Tradisional Dikei Sakai Di Desa Kesumbo Ampai Kecamatan Bathin Solapan
Dikei Sakai is a healing tradition of the Sakai tribe where spirits are summoned to cure various illnesses that afflict them. The Sakai people believe that the loss of spirit is what makes a person sick. This research aims to understand the implementation of the Dikei Sakai traditional healing ritual and analyze the sustainability factors of this traditional treatment. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, determining key informants and additional informants with high credibility in addressing the formulated problems. Data analysis is done using interactive analysis. The results reveal that the understanding of the Dikei Sakai ritual reflects a close relationship with nature and a belief in spiritual power. This ritual is an integral part of Sakai culture and a way to maintain harmony between humans, nature, and the spirit world. The sustainability of traditional treatment is influenced by various elements such as cultural factors related to belief systems and cultural values, for example, Dikei Sakai serves as evidence of the family's interest in their cultural heritage. Family values as guardians and transmitters of tradition are the main foundation for maintaining the sustainability of Dikei Sakai. On the social factor, the involvement and participation of the community contribute to the continued existence of Dikei Sakai, and on the economic factor, it is known that Dikei Sakai is an alternative for the people of Kesumbo Ampai Village, as certain illnesses are relatively inexpensive, influencing the existence and sustainability of this traditional treatment.
