Status Keberlanjutan Perikanan Tangkap Rawai Berdasarkan Aspek Ekonomi, Ekologi dan Teknologi di Kelurahan Teluk Meranti Kabupaten Pelalawan
Sustainability is a pivotal consideration in the development of fisheries, with the potential to enhance both the condition of fisheries resources and the well-being of local communities. This study focuses on the capture fisheries in Teluk Meranti village, Pelalawan Regency, which is predominantly characterized by small-scale operations utilizing longline, catfish nets and fishing rods. This study aims to asess the sustainability status of longline capture fisheries, specifically exammining economic, ecological and technological dimensions in Teluk meranti Village, Pelalawan regency. The research employs a purposive sampling method to collect data, with the analysis conducted through Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries (RAPFISH). RAPFISH is an analytical tool designed for evaluating fisheries sustainability, utilizing ordination techniques and Multi-dimensional Scalling (MDS) to measure attributes in a sequenced manner. The research results show that the economic dimension exibits an index value of 46,92, signifying a less sustainable status. Meanwhile, the ecological dimension registers an index value of 73,95 indicating relative sustainable, as well as the technological dimension has an index value of 74,35 (relative sustainable). Overall, the combined sustainability index for longline fisheries in Teluk Meranti village is calculated at 58,37, representing a moderately sustainable status. To enhance sustainability, strategic measures are recommended, focusing on improving attributes with a substantial impact on sustainable value status.
