Identifikasi Dan Prevalensi Ektoparasit Pada Udang Vannamei (Litopenaeus Vannamei) Yang Di Budidaya Secara Sistem Intensif Di Kabupaten Bengkalis

This study was conducted in June-July 2023 in intensive system ponds in Bengkalis Regency. The purpose of this study was to identify the types of ectoparasites and calculate the prevalence value found in Vaname Shrimp (L.vannamei) cultivated in intensive systems. The method used was survey method, sampling was done in 3 pond locations. The results showed that several types of ectoparasites were found to infect Vannamei shrimp, namely Vorticella sp. and Epistylis sp. The highest pond infested with ectoparasites was Papal Pond with 17 shrimp and the lowest was Adin Sumatra Aqua Farm with 5 shrimp. Based on the results of the highest prevalence of ectoparasites found in Papal Pond at 53% and included in the medium category means very often infect already, while the lowest is found in Sumatra Aqua Farm Pond at 17% included in the category rarely ectoparasites infect shrimp.
