Profil Dan Tingkat Keberlangsungan Hidup Pasien Kanker Prostat Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2016-2018
Prostate cancer is a malignancy that originates from the epithelium of the prostate gland. It is a disease characterized by the uncontrolled growth of cells in the prostate gland. The primary objective of this study was to determine the profile and survival rate of prostate cancer patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru in the 2016-2018 period. This was a retrospective descriptive study with univariate analysis done on August-December 2023 in the Medical Records Installation of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. The data were collected from observation of the diagnosis results in the patient's medical record. The data obtained were treated and presented in frequency distribution table. The research results showed that the highest percentage of patients diagnosed with prostate cancer came from the 60-74 year age group, there is 19 (73.1%) patients. In digital rectal examination, the majority of patients who received negative results were 22 (84.6%) patients. Based on supporting examinations, the majority of prostate cancer patients underwent anatomical histopathological examination were 21 (80.8%) patients, patients who obtained results > 4 ng/mL on PSA examination were 22 (84.6%) patients. The most cancer stages were in Gleason score grade group V were 8 (30.8%) patients. Only 6 (23.1%) patients had metastases to other organs. No patients underwent TRUS examination, and only 2 (7.7%) patients underwent MRI examination. The majority of prostate cancer patients underwent treatment using ADT, there is 19 (73.1%) patients. The 5 year survival rate for prostate cancer patients were 15 (57.7%) patients.
