Pengaruh Perendaman Telur Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus) Dalam Larutan Nanas, Belimbing Wuluh Dan Ekstrak Daun Kersen Terhadap Penyerapan Kuning Telur
Asian redtail catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) is one of the superior potentials in aquaculture, but still experience problems, especially handling on the prolarvae phase. Prolarvae are one of the vulnerable stages in the early development of fish life and have egg yolk which is used as food supply. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a solution of pineapple, wuluh starfruit and extract of cherry leaf on egg yolk absorption rate, larval length growth rate, efficiency of egg yolk utilization, fish larvae development and survival rate in the larvae Asian redtail catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus). This research held on June 2023 at the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Riau University, Pekanbaru. The research method used was an experimental method with the soaking of eggs with the addition of a solution of pineapple, wuluh starfruit and extract of cherry leaf. The design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatment levels, P0 (control), P1 (pineapple solution dose of 1 ml/L), P2 (wuluh starfruit solution dose of 4 ml/L) and P3 (extract of cherry leaf dose of 4 ml/L). The research results showed that treatment P0 (control) had the highest absorption rate (9.89%) within 108 hours. However, treatment P3 (extract of cherry leaf) was the highest in terms of length growth rate (0.64%) and efficiency of egg yolk utilization (7.31%) and treatment P2 (pineapple solution) had the highest survival rate (96.1%).
