Pengaruh Perendaman Hormon Pertumbuhan Rekombinan (Rgh) Dengan Lama Waktu Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Jelawat (Leptobarbus Hoevenii)
Jelawat fis is one of the commercial fish for the Malay people. However, there are several problems with this fish, one of which is its delayed larval growth. Usually, hormonal, environmental, and genetic methods are used to address this issue. RGH (Recombinant Growth Hormone) is one of the hormonal strategies that is being developed at the moment. The purpose of this study is to determine how rGH affects the development and survival of larvae of jelawat fish (Hoven’s crap). The employed larvae showed a stocking density of 5 individuals/L and an average initial length of 7 ± 0.34 mm at 5 days of life. A 30x30x30 cm^3 aquarium with a 15L water volume was used to raise 12 larvae. The feed given by Artemia for the first 20 days and for the next 20 days was given silk worms ad libitum for a duration of 4 times a day. 2.5 mg/L rGH dosage was administered in each treatment. An experimental approach with a completely randomized design and long immersion treatments 0 minutes (P1), 60 minutes (P2), 90 minutes (P3), and 120 minutes (P4) with three repeats of each was employed in this investigation. The results of the research demonstrated that immersing jelawat fish larvae in recombinant growth hormone (rGH) for varying durations had a highly significant (P
