Hubungan Pengetahuan Dan Etika Lingkungan Terhadap Perilaku Pro Lingkungan Pada Mahasiswa Anggota Organisasi Mahasiswa Pecinta Alam Di Universitas Riau

This research was conducted at the Nature Lovers Student Organization (Mapala) at Universitas Riau. The objectives of this research are: 1) To determine the environmental knowledge of members of the Nature Lovers Student Organization at Universitas Riau. 2) To find out the environmental ethics of members of the Nature Lovers Student organization at Universitas Riau. 3) To determine the pro-environmental behavior of members of the Nature Lovers Student organization at Universitas Riau. 4) To determine the relationship between environmental knowledge and ethics and the pro-environmental behavior of members of the Nature Lovers Student organization at Universitas Riau. This research uses an inferential quantitative method, involving all members of the organization (n = 102) with census sampling techniques. Data instruments include observation, guided interviews and documentation. Based on the results of field research, it shows that 75.5% of respondents' knowledge was in the high category and 24.5% in the medium category. The environmental ethics of respondents is 48% in the good category and 52% of respondents in the poor ethical category. The pro-environmental behavior of respondents was 44.1% in the high category, 54.9% in the medium category and 1% in the low category. The results of the Pearson Product Moment correlation test show a positive and moderate relationship between knowledge and pro-environmental behavior (r = 0.492, sig. 0.000). Meanwhile, for the ethics variable, there is a strong and positive relationship between environmental ethics and pro-environmental behavior (r = 0.725, sig. 0.000). In addition, a strong and positive relationship also exists between environmental knowledge and ethics and pro-environmental behavior (r = 0.687, sig. 0.000). These results support all alternative hypotheses (Ha) in this research so they can be accepted. This means that there is a relationship between knowledge and pro-environmental behavior, there is a relationship between environmental ethics and pro-environmental behavior and there is a relationship between knowledge and environmental ethics and pro-environmental behavior in the Nature Lovers Student Organization (Mapala) at Universitas Riau.
