Peran Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Dalam Pengembangan Desa Wisata Tanjung Belit Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hulu Kabupaten Kampar

This research was conducted in Tanjung Belit Village, Kampar Kiri Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Pokdarwis in developing Tanjung Belit Tourism Village and Pokdarwis' obstacles in carrying out its role to develop Tanjung Belit Tourism Village. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods by taking 5 informants, namely Pokdarwis members and 2 key informants, Tanjung Belit Village Head and Niniak Mamak. This research uses a purposive method and uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the role of Pokdarwis in developing Tanjung Belit Tourism Village is in accordance with the objectives and functions of the Tanjung Belit Village Pokdarwis. The role of Pokdarwis in developing Tanjung Belit Tourism Village is a) increasing understanding of tourism b) increasing the role and participation of the community in tourism development c) increasing the value of tourism benefits for the community and Pokdarwis members d) succeeding in tourism development e) as a Sapta Pesona activator in the tourist destination environment. Pokdarwis' obstacles in carrying out its role to develop Tanjung Belit Tourism Village are internal and external obstacles. Internal barriers arise from Pokdarwis itself due to a lack of skills and understanding related to carrying out its role as Pokdarwis and being a Pokdarwis member is not their main job. External barriers come from visitors and from the village government in providing material support.
